On August 7th, 2019, we sat next to each other in algebra class, two strangers whose lives were about to change forever. Neither of us had any idea then that this was the beginning of a love story we would tell for the rest of our lives. It was Matt who took the first step, sending a simple message on Snapchat that quickly turned into endless hours of talking, laughing, and sharing memes. We spent more time in conversation than actually paying attention in class, but in hindsight, that was probably the best lesson we could’ve learned.

When Homecoming came around, Matt nervously asked if I would be his date, and little did we know, that night would become a moment we would both treasure forever. We danced until the music ended, never once stopping to eat or even grab a drink, because every moment together felt too precious to let go of. It was the best night of our lives—up until now, at least. From that night on, we just knew. We knew that we were meant to walk through this life side by side, that our hearts had found their home in each other.

The past six years have been nothing short of a beautiful adventure. We’ve cheered each other on at high school games, held each other through challenges, and celebrated our victories. We moved into our first apartment together, not just as two people living under one roof, but as two souls creating a life. We adopted two cats who have brought so much joy and laughter into our home, and with each passing day, we’ve grown stronger as a couple, learning what it truly means to love, support, and care for each other.

Now, here we are, planning our wedding—the start of our forever. And every moment, every memory, has led us to this point, a place where we are so sure of each other, of this love, and of the future we are going to build together. The road we’ve traveled hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been ours. And we are so incredibly thankful for every step, every challenge, and every triumph that has brought us closer.

As we begin this next chapter, we want to take a moment to thank all of you who have supported us from day one, up until now. Our family, our friends, our loved ones—who have been there through it all. Your support, your guidance, your unwavering love has meant everything to us. You have helped shape us into who we are today, and we are forever grateful to have you by our side.

We cannot wait to celebrate this day with you, to laugh, to cry, and to make memories that will last a lifetime. Our hearts are overflowing with excitement and love, and we know that the best is yet to come.
